Great for Quick Clean-Ups!!
I tend to be a messy person and this is a lifesaver! I spilled coffee and this little device cleaned it up with no problems!! All that I had to do was spray the stain and scrub the area! Hardly no work at all! I also like how small it is so I am able to toss it in my purse and bring it with me! I have also used it on spills in my car from my kids! Thank you for inventing my new lifesaver!

Perfect for those of us without a rug shampooer
I have a 14 month old daughter, so there are a lot of spills going on in this apartment! Unfortunately, our eating area is fully carpeted, so anything that falls down has to be scrubbed out by hand - uhg!

Luckily, I came across one of these and decided to give it a try. It got out dried on bananas, a spilled daiquiri (red dye everywhere!), a little bum accident, and pretty much anything else that has fallen onto the carpet.

No need to spend money on an expensive rug shampooer with this around. Its only fault is that it uses a lot of cleaner. Fortunately, you can refill it no problem!

Compact, cordless, and actually works
I was waiting to get this vacuum at Target because it was $39.99 but they never had it in stock - after going to 4 diff. Targets so I just ordered it online. I am so happy with it. I use it mainly to vacuum dog hair throughout our hardwood floor house and on the couches. I use the suction portion for the hardwood floors and then switch to "carpet" mode for the courches where the brushes roll and pick up the hair off our microsuede couch.

I'm surprised at how well the vacuum works, especially given that it's cordless. I mounted it on the side wall in our kitchen and it's a great daily/mid-week cleaner for our floors. Very light and easy to use.

So much better than the Shark cordless that I had to return after it didn't work at all.

I'm a pro, and say it's great.
I've owned a cleaning business for 26 years, and this machine is great. There are a few secrets to success with it:

To clean it and keep it from smelling, flush it after using. Suck hot clean water through the hose. If your unit is really dirty, suck a mild bleach solution and let it sit. ALSO, remove the rubber gasket at the bottom of the waste tank and clean it... this can be a major source of odor. It's very easy to do, but not mentioned in the instructions.

Use just clean water in the solution tank, and put the cleaner in a spray bottle. (The less soap the better. Use the scrubber on the nozzle and allow a few minutes of dwell time). Think of your machine as the rinse cycle in a clothes washing machine. Rinse the dirt and soap out, leaving a minumum of residue. A seperate bottle also allows more precise application of cleaner. And it extends tank refills, so you won't have to wait for the spray pump to reprime as much.

Durablility? I've used mine several times a week for almost a year now, what with business, dogs, and small children. No sign of wear whatever.

This is a brilliant design. Don't let the reviews that don't know how to work with it dissuade you. It is one of the finest, best engineered consumer appliances ever made. Get the least expensive model, as the Turbo Brush and heater don't work well and are not needed.

Drawbacks? Okay, it doesn't have the suction power of a commercial machine. If you want that, pay three hundred dollars more and lug an extra thirty pounds around the house.

Shop-Vac 22-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum
I bought this wet/dry vac about a year ago and so far, it has held up well to on the job use. Considering the reasonable price, I feel that it was a very good value and I expect to get another year out of it before replacing it with the same model if still available then. It has excellent suction power although the hose cannot be reversed for blowing. This is probably the main reason why the motor is so mercifully quite. With an empty tank, the vac is light enough for me to easily pick up and load in the truck but still heavy enough to roll smoothly on a concrete or plywood floor. The vac has an eighteen foot long power cord and came with a six-foot 2-1/2 inch diameter locking hose and accessory kit including a floor brush with squeegee, two 2-1/2 foot long extensions, a crevice tool and a disposable fine dust filter bag. I immediately ordered an additional eight-foot locking hose, hose coupling, right-angle brush attachment and two reducer/adapters for connection to my table saw and miter saw when needed.
For regular cleanup, such as woodchips, I just use the included standard wet/dry paper element filter without a bag. When using the vacuum to clean soot from oil burner/gas furnace flues and stack pipes, wood stove/fireplace ash or drywall dust I always use the #90673 high-efficiency fine dust bags and have never had a problem with soot or dust blowing out of the motor exhaust and into the room. These filter bags come in two-packs and are a little expensive but can last for quite a while if you don't use them for everyday cleaning jobs. Of course, the twenty-two gallon tank does have a drain for liquids, but for continuous wet pickup below grade when no sump pit is available, I remove the top motor assembly and use a utility pump with a garden hose to drain the tank rather than try to lift it or fiddle with adapters for the tank drain. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this wet/dry vac and have no problem recommending it.
